Yes. Each item gets its own unit - metre, square metre, kilogram, piece. Stock and price are calculated in that unit.
What if goods arrive on pallets but sell by the piece?
You set the pack multiple and the software recalculates the stock itself: received in pallets, sold in pieces, the warehouse still adds up.
Are several warehouses supported?
